Environmental Policy

Verma recognizes its responsibility to operate in an environmentally friendly manner. We fully comply with regional and international regulations, focusing on minimizing our environmental footprint. Our production processes are based on sustainability principles, utilizing energy-efficient methodologies, rigorous machinery maintenance schedules, and a proprietary risk management system.

We employ sustainable methods for raw material selection and implement eco-friendly production processes by investing in cutting-edge technology. We monitor our entire waste management lifecycle, from collection to transportation and disposal. We partner with firms specializing in the safe disposal of waste, including unsuitable drugs. We collect solid non-hazardous waste and recycle batteries, stationery, electric appliances, machinery, and old vehicles.

Verma promotes environmental awareness among its employees, partners, and clients, believing that everyone needs to be involved in environmental sustainability efforts.

Verma Drugs established by Komninos Gamvroulis, beginning acetic acid dialysis solution production.

1986

Started production of sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) dialysis solutions.

1987

Launched Vermalton and peritoneal dialysis (PD) solutions.

1989

Expanded into amino acid production.

1990

Introduced acidic dialysis solutions.

1992

Formed a strategic partnership with Terumo.

1998

Achieved GMP and ISO compliance.

1999

Established a state-of-the-art 7,000 m² production facility.

2000

Launched the Verma Cart.

Partnered with Medionics.

Introduced Vermafil and collaborated with Asahi Rexeed Dialyzers.

Launched the Verma-Ci-Cart.

Introduced Vermasol and Set PD products.
